Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website admitvista.com (the "Website") and the admissions consulting services offered by AdmitVista Education Pvt. Ltd. (referred to as "AdmitVista", "we", "us", or "our"). By using the Website or engaging our services, you ("you", "Client" or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Our Services

AdmitVista provides educational counselling and admissions advisory services for higher education in India and abroad, including but not limited to: profile evaluation, university shortlisting, application drafting and review, scholarship guidance, visa support, and pre-departure briefing. The specific scope of services for any engagement is defined in a written package or service agreement signed by both parties.

We are an advisory service. We do not represent or act as agents of any university, college, or government authority. Admission decisions, visa decisions and scholarship awards are made solely by the respective institutions and authorities. AdmitVista does not and cannot guarantee any specific outcome.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age, or have the consent and active involvement of a parent or legal guardian, to engage our services. By using our services, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.

3. Booking and Engagement

An engagement begins when (a) the Client signs a service agreement or accepts a written package proposal in writing or by email, and (b) the relevant fee or instalment is received by AdmitVista. Until both conditions are met, no obligation arises on the part of either party.

Free 30-minute initial consultations are offered on a no-obligation basis and do not, by themselves, constitute a service engagement.

4. Fees, Packages and Payment

Fees for our services are set out in the relevant package proposal. All fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated and are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST), which will be charged additionally where required by law.

Where instalments are agreed, each instalment is due on the date specified in the package proposal. Failure to make a scheduled payment may result in suspension of services until the outstanding amount is cleared.

Third-party fees — including but not limited to university application fees, test registration fees, visa fees, courier charges, document attestation fees and travel costs — are not included in our service fees and are payable directly by the Client to the relevant party.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

We are committed to fair refund practices. The following refund schedule applies, calculated from the date the service agreement is signed and the first instalment is received:

  • Within 7 days of engagement (cooling-off period) — provided no substantial deliverables (university shortlist, drafted essays, application submissions) have been provided, the Client is entitled to a refund of the amount paid, less an administrative charge of ten percent (10%) of the total package fee.
  • After 7 days, before profile evaluation is delivered — refund of fifty percent (50%) of the amount paid.
  • After profile evaluation but before any application is submitted — refund of twenty-five percent (25%) of the amount paid.
  • After any application has been submitted on the Client's behalf, or after substantial deliverables have been provided — no refund will be issued.

Third-party fees paid by AdmitVista on the Client's behalf (university application fees, test fees, visa fees, etc.) are non-refundable in all cases, as these payments are made to and retained by third parties.

Refund requests must be made in writing to info@admitvista.com. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within fifteen (15) business days of approval.

No refund will be issued for outcomes outside our control, including but not limited to: rejection by a university, denial of a visa, denial of a scholarship, change in immigration policy, change in Client's plans, or failure of the Client to meet deadlines, requirements, or test scores.

6. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate, truthful and complete information at all times.
  • Submit required documents and respond to counsellor communications within the timelines reasonably requested.
  • Review all drafts, applications and submissions before final submission and approve them in writing.
  • Pay all third-party fees directly to the third party concerned.
  • Comply with the rules and policies of any university, government, or test-conducting authority.

AdmitVista is not liable for any consequences arising from inaccurate information, missed deadlines or non-compliance attributable to the Client.

7. Confidentiality

AdmitVista will treat all personal and academic information shared by the Client as confidential and will not disclose it to any third party without the Client's consent, except where (a) disclosure is required to perform the services (e.g. submitting an application to a university), or (b) disclosure is required by law.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, images, logos, illustrations, the AdmitVista wordmark, and the structure of our methodologies and templates — is the property of AdmitVista or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any of this content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Drafts of essays, statements of purpose, CVs, and other application content prepared by AdmitVista for a Client become the property of the Client upon full payment of fees, subject to the Client's representation that any work product reflects the Client's own ideas, experiences and voice.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Website or our services to:

  • Submit false or misleading information in applications.
  • Engage in plagiarism or to misrepresent another person's work as your own.
  • Violate any applicable law or the policies of any university or authority.
  • Disrupt, hack, or interfere with the Website or any associated services.

AdmitVista reserves the right to terminate any engagement immediately, without refund, if a Client engages in such conduct.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AdmitVista's total liability to any Client in connection with the services rendered shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by that Client to AdmitVista in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

AdmitVista shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of opportunity, loss of academic year, loss of admission offer, or visa denial.

11. Force Majeure

AdmitVista shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, government action, internet outages, or changes in immigration or admissions policy.

12. Modifications to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Website or our services after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be sought to be resolved by good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, conducted by a sole arbitrator. The seat of arbitration shall be New Delhi, and the language shall be English. Subject to the above, the courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
